A Classic Chowder House Reinvented

The historic building has housed the classic locals chowder house for decades. When the restaurant shut down, the Holdens, of Luke’s Lobster, saw an opportunity to create an elevated dining experience while still holding onto the basics of what made Dry Dock a staple of Portland. With newly constructed views from the rear elevation storefront, the expansive decks and the second floor mezzanine, local seafood has never tasted so good.
