Maryna Nelson

Designer

Maryna received a Bachelor of Construction from Vinnytsia National Technical University in 2016. Following her education, she immigrated to the U.S. from Ukraine and has made Maine home, drawn by its beautiful coastline, and welcoming community. She lives in Portland with her husband Keith, their baby boy Mark, born in 2024, and their energetic golden retriever, Archie.

She joined Archetype in 2017 and has grown professionally through hands-on experience in various stages of the design process - from early concepts, renderings and permitting to construction documentation and administration. Her design experience includes a wide range of project types, such as residential buildings, restaurants, offices, and parking or storage facilities.

In her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding in the ocean, traveling, and exploring new places.
