Architect

Virginie Stanley joined Archetype in 2012 as an architect and planner.
Virginie realized at a young age how great the impact of architecture and planning is to the well-being of people. With this realization came her desire to create meaningful spaces for human habitation.

Born in the Netherlands, Virginie moved to the US in 1999. In 2004, she graduated from Drury University with degrees in architecture and mathematics. She was named outstanding architecture student three times and was similarly awarded for excelling in mathematics.

Virginie is known to take complex requirements and turn them into simple, elegant design solutions. She works diligently to find optimal solutions to difficult challenges.

After working with world renowned architects Moshe Safdie and Rick Joy, Virginie moved to Maine in 2008.
